DevLog 02 - Nice 'fit! (And UI, I guess..)

Introduction

Hey everyone! Welcome to the second ever devlog for  Spy Guy Assassin Dude! In the last devlog, I laid the foundation for what this game is, and so today I'd like to jump straight into it and give you some details... on the details!

UI Additions

To start off, user interface for the game itself has seen some work. This includes player tabs at the top of each map, a very basic menu and gameplay selection screen, and the addition of ink bombs for the Knife and Gunner Class! Each one of these features is still being developed, but for now it gives you a basic idea for what is coming up in the game. Details like the Ink Bomb's sprite, customization of the characters on the player tabs, etc. are still being worked on.

Player Customization

Spy Guy Assassin Dude aims to be a 2-4 player party game, and with such a specific concept of blending in with the crowd, it sometimes becomes difficult to pick yourself out! Therefore, we added some player customization to make it easier (and more fun) to tell who you are! Each player has 3 slots of areas that you can customize on your spy; the body, the head, and the back. Each can be mixed and matched to make a completely customized character. So far, we have around 2,300 combinations of characters, and this number will only rise as new updates come out! Below are some examples of randomized characters that you can create. (It is important to note that your player's custom sprite will only appear when attacking! Otherwise, you will look just like the common AI.)

More, as always will be shown soon!
